4-Year-Old Program

Our 4-year-old program is designed to spark curiosity, build confidence, and prepare children for a successful transition to Kindergarten. Each day children explore new ideas through our Wonder Workshop, where Kindergarteners and 4-year-olds come together to investigate exciting topics through engaging books, STEAM experiences, collaboration, and projects. Throughout the year, children strengthen early math, problem solving, and social-emotional skills while learning to think critically, ask questions, work together, and become independent learners. Every experience is intentionally designed to nurture a lifelong love of learning and ensure each child is ready for Kindergarten — and beyond.

wonder workshop

Wonder Workshop is the heart of our 4-year-old program — a dedicated time each day where curiosity leads to learning and every child is seen as capable, creative, and full of potential.

Inspired by the Reggio-Emilia approach, children engage in meaningful investigations that begin with wonder. Through rich literature, open-ended materials, scientific exploration, creative expression, collaborative building, and thoughtful conversation, children are encouraged to ask questions, test ideas, solve problems, and discover new possibilities.

By learning alongside Kindergarten peers, our 4-year-olds develop confidence, resilience, communication skills, and the academic foundations they'll need for a successful transition to elementary school.
