Ages of Children

Risen Savior’s Preschool & Kindergarten provides quality early childhood care and education to Toddlers (at least 1 year old and walking) through Kindergartners.

Meals

The school provides all meals and snacks based on the following schedule, provided you have a Meal Benefit Income Eligibility Form on file. This form is a mandatory part of our Enrollment Packet because it allows us to receive funding to offset food costs. Parents will be completing this form every year your child is in school from now through 12th Grade.

  • Breakfast:                   7:00 am – 8:30 am
  • Morning Snack:       9:00 am – 10:00 am
  • Lunch:                        11:00 am – 1:00 pm
  • Afternoon Snack:   2:30 pm – 3:30 pm

Naps

We provide a rest time for our children after lunch.  Each family will be asked to provide a crib-size sheet to fit on their child’s cot.  The children are welcome to bring a small pillow, blanket and/or small stuffed animal to be used only during this time.  Be sure all items are labeled with a permanent marker. Bedding is sent home on Fridays to be laundered and returned on Mondays.

Hours of Operation

Our center is open from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

Vacations

Risen Savior allows families to take up to two weeks vacation per school year (July 1 – June 30) tuition free. Vacations must be taken in one week blocks of time, but does not need to be Monday through Friday. To have the week credited to your account, complete the online Schedule Change Form.   Please note – one of your vacation weeks MUST be the week between Christmas and New Years Day when the center shuts down. The other week is at your discretion.

Holidays

Risen Savior will be closed in observance of the following holidays:

  • Memorial Day
  • Independence Day
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving
  • Friday after Thanksgiving
  • Christmas Eve through New Years Day (counted as one vacation week)

If a holiday falls on a Saturday or Sunday, the preceding Friday or following Monday will be observed for that holiday.  Weekly tuition is due regardless of whether a holiday is observed during a tuition period.

We believe learning should be fun and meaningful.  Our classes are designed to meet the interests of the children.  They have the opportunity to explore, discover and create their own knowledge through developmentally appropriate activities.  As a nationally accredited program, we set high standards of quality care and education.

We invite you to call the school at 480.802.1505 to schedule a tour with our Admissions Counselor,  Ms. Kathleen!
